Práca pojednáva o vývoji postavy ženy v španielskej literatúre a akým spôsobom sa v literatúre odráža pozícia ženy v španielskej spoločnosti. Práca kladie dôraz na diela predstaviteľov španielskeho realizmu 19. st.: Benita Peréz Galdósa (v jeho diele Fortunata y Jacinta) a Emiliu Pardo Bazán (La Tribuna). Porovnáva ich s dvoma autormi z konca 20. st.: Juanom José Millásom (La soledad era esto) a Marinou Mayoral (Morir en sus brazos y otros cuentos). Komparácia dvoch období sa sústreďuje nielen na rozdielne postavenie ženy v spoločnosti, ale aj na zmenu v literárnom chápaní postavy ženy.The thesis treats the evolution of the feminine character in the Spanish literature and the way it reveals the position of women in the Spanish society. The presented work accentuate the creation of two realists authors of the 19th century: Benito Peréz Galdós (in his book Fortunata y Jacinta) and Emilia Pardo Bazán (La Tribuna). It compares them with two writers from the end of 20th century: Juan José Millás (La soledad era esto) and Marina Mayoral (Morir en sus brazos y otros cuentos). The comparation of the two periods is focused not only on different position of women in the society, but also on the change in literary understanding of the feminine character.
