Teoretická část práce uvádí čtenáře do základní terminologie, seznamuje stručně s historií zooterapie, popisuje její metody, formy, a aktuální problémy. Dále se věnuje vysvětlení základních termínů, spojených se zooterapií, popisuje její nejrozšířenější druhy, a zmiňuje i ty, které nejsou v literatuře tolik rozebírány. Celá práce je zaměřena na práci se seniory, a proto je v některých kapitolách uvedena podkapitola využití daného druhu v práci s touto cílovou skupinou. Praktická část se věnuje zjišťování vlivu zooterapie na psychosociální stránku seniora v zařízení sociální péče, prostřednictvím hloubkových rozhovorů s klienty, a pro dokreslení situace také případovou studijí klientky, která rozhovoru není schopna. Výsledky jsou shromážděny i zpracovány ve formě kvalitativního výzkumu. Do příloh jsou zahrnuty všechny podklady, potřebné k doplnění teoretické i praktické části, a na které je odkazováno ve stati práce, a fotografie z průběhu zooterapie.The theoretical part introduces the reader in a basic terminology, familiarizes him briefly with the history of zootherapy, describes its methods, forms and actual problems. Further it explains the basic terms connected with zootherapy, describes the most common types and notes even those not well analyzed in the literature. The whole paper is focused on the work with seniors. That?s the main reason why in some chapters there is a subchapter about the use of the particular type of zootherapy for work with this target group. The practical part explores the impact of zootherapy on the psychosocial aspect of life of a senior in the senior home. It uses a detailed inteview with the clients and one time ? for better understanding ? a case study of a client unable to participate in the interview. The results are accumulated and analysed in a form of qualitative research. The appendices contain all the materials needed to finish both theoretical and practical parts with references in the main text. There are photographs from the zootherapy session as well.
