Diplomová práce je zaměřena na výuku slovní zásoby za pomocí her na středních školách. Hlavním cílem výuky za pomocí jazykových her je vytvoření příjemné atmosféry ve třídě a zvýšení motivace žáků. V teoretické části jsou zpracovány poznatky z odborné literatury. Praktická část obsahuje výsledky průzkumu mezi žáky a učiteli anglického jazyka na středních školách.The thesis deals with teaching vocabulary through games at the upper secondary schools. The main aim of teaching vocabulary through games is to create positive atmosphere and increase the motivation of students in the classroom. The theoretical part is elaborated on the background literature sources. The practical part is based on the findings of a research among both students and teachers at the upper secondary school.
