Záměrem magisterské práce je zpracování problematiky tykající se městských parků a jejich vlivu na zdraví fyzické, psychické a sociální ve vybraných městech Spojených států amerických. Práce zpracovává teoretické poznatky týkající se pojmu městský park, klasifikace městských parků, systému městských parků, počátku vývoje městských parků a vlivu městských parků na zdraví fyzické, psychické a sociální. Metodou komparace a metodou škálování pozorovaných jevů zkoumaných vzorků došlo k vyhodnocení výsledků popisující vliv městských parku na zdraví fyzické, psychické a sociální.The master diploma thesis is focused on the city parks system and their effect on the physical, psychical and social health in selected cities in the United States of America. The thesis acquaints readers with the terminology of city parks, the classification of city parks, the system of city parks, the beginning and the progress of city parks, the effect of city Park on the physical, psychical and social health.
