Hlavní úkolem této práce, je zkoumání vybraných aspektů kvality bydlení v Olomouci. Nejprve tato práce rozebírá kvalitu ţivota jako samotný pojem s přihlédnutím na jednotlivé pohledy různých autorů a vědních disciplín. Ve vlastním výzkumu je pak sledována bytová a demografická sloţka. Pouţitím shlukové analýzy, je dosaţeno typologie městských částí a urbanistických jednotek do jednotlivých shluků, které jsou analyzovány a komentovány.
