Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na znalosti o péči o seniory. Snahou bylo objasnit problematiku tohoto života každého člověka se všemi jeho úskalími. Zabývám se dále charakteristikou období stárnutí a stáří, jejich hlavními znaky a jejich rozdělením. V další části se zmiňuji o životní spokojenosti, její definici a hlavních determinantech. Jelikož jsem v praktické části realizovala výzkum závislosti životní spokojenosti na lidských potřebách, integruji i kapitolu lidských potřeb do teoretické části. Potřeby rozdělím dle Maslowovy hierarchie potřeb, jako jednoho z přehledných systémů třídění. Výzkum je prováděn v domovech s pečovatelskou službou v Přerově. Stanovuji si čtyři cíle zaměřené na zjištění životní spokojenosti v závislosti na lidských potřebách, následně na to, které potřeby nejvíce tuto spokojenost ovlivňují. Další cíle jsou zaměřeny na zjištění nejvýznamnějších problémů spojených se stářím, a to jak jsou senioři s jednotlivými oblastmi životní spokojenosti spokojeni.The theoretical part of work focuses on the knowledge of the care for the elderly. It sets out four objectives designed to identify life satisfaction in relation to human needs, then to the satisfaction of the needs of most influence. Other objectives are to identify the most important problems associated with old age and as older people with different areas of life satisfaction satisfied.
