Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 30 probandů (muži i ženy). Kontrolní skupina obsahovala 12 probandů ve věku 18-40 let. Pomocí povrchové elektromyografie byla zjištěna svalová aktivita vybraných svalů: musculli erectores spinae v lumbální oblasti billaterálně, musculus gluteus maximus, musculus gluteus medius, musculus tensor fasciae latae, musculus biceps femoris a musculus rectus abdominis billaterálně. Porovnání mezi skupinami prokázalo vyšší svalovou aktivitu u kontrolní skupiny oproti skupiny thaiboxerů u některých svalů v pohybech do abdukce i extenze.: The thesis focuses on assessing the differences in the activity of the lower limb and trunk muscles using surface electromyography and determining their order of involvement during hip extension and abduction in dominant and non-dominant limbs. The movements were measured in spontaneous speed during movements with and without load. The study cohort consisted of 30 probands (males and females). The control group comprised 12 probands aged 18-40 years. Muscular activity of the following muscles was determined using surface electromyography: musculli erectores spinae in the lumbar region bilaterally, musculus gluteus maximus, musculus gluteus medius, musculus tensor fasciae latae, musculus biceps femoris, and musculus rectus abdominis bilaterally. The normalised values were used to assess muscle activity. Moreover, the timing and the time, expressing the period necessary for the muscle to reach its maximum from the beginning of its activation, were evaluated. The results have corroborated the difference between the dominant and non-dominant lower limb in the control group of probands. The abduction of the dominant lower limb exhibited higher activity in the m. gluteus maximus muscle. During extension, the muscles m. erector spinae, m. gluteus medius and m. tensor fasciae latae appear to display a higher activity level in the non-dominant lower limb without load. Intergroup comparison demonstrated higher muscle activity in the control group than in the Muay Thai boxer group in some muscles in abduction and extension movements.
