Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vojenským ležením u Zeithainu v roce 1730 z pohledu dvou císařských diplomatů, Leopolda Viléma (II.) z Valdštejna a Fridricha Heinricha ze Seckendorffu. Práce prostřednictvím korespondence zasílané z vojenského ležení do Vídně zkoumá, jak oba muži hodnotili vojenské manévry saské armády (popř. armádu samotnou) s cílem zjistit, nakolik byla úspěšná tato vrcholná vojenská reprezentace Augusta Silného, saského kurfiřta a polského krále.This thesis deals with the military encampment at Zeithain in 1730 from the perspective of two imperial diplomats, Leopold Wilhelm (II.) von Waldstein and Friedrich Heinrich von Seckendorff. Through correspondence sent from the military encampment to Vienna, the thesis examines how both men evaluated the military maneuvers of the Saxon army (or the army itself) in order to determine the success of this supreme military representation of Augustus the Strong, Elector of Saxony and King of Poland.
