Práce se zabývá otázkou, zda je koncept agent-principál vyhovující k aplikování na Úřad evropského veřejného žalobce (dále jen "EPPO"), co vše koncept dokáže pokrýt a jaké jsou případné limity jeho aplikace. K aplikaci konceptu agent-principál na EPPO pak dopomůže teoretické vymezení konceptu, zasazení EPPO do kontextu evropských agentur, a později i samotná aplikace základních prvků konceptu agent-principál na EPPO. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V části první se práce zabývá teoretickým vymezením konceptu agent-principál, jeho základních prvků a rozlišnosti jeho modelů. Ve své části druhé, práce přibližuje problematiku evropských agentur, jejich stručný vývoj a typologii. Pozornost je zaměřena i na agentury, které jsou EPPO podobné. V této části práce představí samotného agenta - EPPO. V třetí, tedy poslední, části práce je aplikován koncept agent-principál na EPPO. Aplikací konceptu pomocí jeho základních prvků se dozvíme, nakolik je vztah Komise a EPPO v souladu s klasickou teorií agenta-principála, a nakolik se jejich vztah od klasické teorie konceptu odlišuje.The thesis addresses the question whether the agent-principal concept is suitable for application to the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), what the concept can cover and what are the possible limits of its application. The application of the agent-principal concept to the EPPO is then supported by a theoretical definition of the concept, the setting of the EPPO in the context of European agencies, and later the application of the basic elements of the agent-principal concept to the EPPO. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical definition of the agent-principle concept, its basic elements and the distinctiveness of its models. In its second part, the thesis introduces the issue of European agencies, their brief development and typology. Attention is also focused on agencies that are similar to the EPPO. In this part, the thesis introduces the agent itself - the EPPO. In the third and final part of the thesis, the agent-principal concept is applied to the EPPO. By applying the concept using its basic elements, we will learn to what extent the relationship between the Commission and the EPPO is consistent with classical agent-principle theory, and to what extent their relationship differs from classical concept theory.
