Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol, z toho první tři kapitoly se věnují teoretické části a poslední kapitola představuje empirickou část. Teoretická část se zaměřila na problematiku sluchového postižení, obor surdopedie, klasifikace, etiologie a kategorie osob se sluchovým postižením. Dále na komunikaci osob se sluchovým postižením, vymezení pojmu komunikace, komunikačních systémů a kompenzační pomůcky. Další kapitola se zabývala zaměstnáváním osob se sluchovým postižením, legislativou, historií, možnostem pracovního uplatnění a organizace pomáhající při zaměstnávání těchto osob. V praktické části jsou představeny výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu, jenž proběhl formou dotazníkového šetření. Výsledky byly vypracovány do přehledných grafů.. -- Abstract: The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of communication of hearing impaired people in the work process. The bachelor thesis is divided into four chapters, which the first three chapters form the theoretical part and the last chapter represents the empirical part. The theoretical part is focused on the issues of hearing impairment, the field of surdopedy, classification, list the etiology and cathegory of people with hearing impairment. In addition to that, the work deals with communication of people with hearing impairment, definition of communication, communication systems and compensatory aids. The next chapter was dealing with employment of people with hearing impairment, legislation, history, the options of employment and organizations helping to employ these people. The practical part presents the results of a quantitative research, done by means of a questionnaire survey. These results were elaborated into well-arranged graphs.
