Tato diplomová práce se zabývá magickými čtverci a jejich vlivem na umění. První část je věnována teorii o magických čtvercích. Ve druhé kapitole se seznámíme s dlouhou historií magických čtverců i se způsobem, jak se v různých kulturních prostředích objevovaly a prosazovaly. Na závěr projdeme exkurzí různými uměleckými obory, ve kterých našly magické čtverce uplatnění.This diploma thesis deals with magic squares and their influence on art. The first part is devoted to the theory of magic squares. In the second chapter we learn about the long history of magic squares and how they appeared and promoted in different cultural communities. Finally we go through the excursion in various artistic disciplines, in which magic squares have found an application.
