Přehledová bakalářská práce se zabývá rolemi ošetřovatelského personálu v problematice pádů seniorů. Cílem této práce je sumarizace dohledaných aktuálních publikovaných poznatků v oblasti problematiky pádů u seniorů jak v nemocniční, tak i v domácí péči v České republice i v zahraničí. Zaměřuje se na roli ošetřovatelských profesionálů v oblasti prevence pádů, definování rizikových faktorů a používání screeningových nástrojů v praxi. Předložené poznatky jsou čerpány z databáze EBSCO, Google Scholar, Science Direct, MEDLINE a PubMed.This survey based bachelor thesis focuses on the role of nursing staff in the issue of falls in seniors. The aim of this thesis is to sum up the current published knowledge on the issue of falling seniors, both in hospital and home care, in the Czech republic as well as abroad. The thesis focuses on the role of nursing staff in the area of fall prevention, risk factor definition and use of screening tools in practice. The submitted information was acquired using the database EBSCO, Google Scholar, Science Direct, MEDLINE and PubMed.
