Tato diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou, zda se vyskytují tendence pro překlad anglických existenciálních konstrukcí s there a jestli jsou těmito protějšky také věty vstupu na scénu a za jakých podmínek. Praktickou částí je výzkum založený na komparativní analýze překladů beletristického díla.This diploma thesis deals with the question of whether there are tendencies in translating existential there-constructions and whether their counterparts express existence or appearance on the scene. The practical part of this paper is a comparative analysis of three translations of a novel.
