V centru pozornosti zde stojí ukázky vývoje gramatických struktur v nominální, verbální a pragmatické oblasti nizozemského jazyka. The general aim of this thesis is to describe grammaticalisation processes in Dutch. Grammaticalisation is presented here as an evolutionary development that transforms lexical material into new grammar. The process is thus primarily understood as a functional-semantic change. After discussing a range of theoretical aspects of grammaticalisation, the second half of the text consists of a series of smaller case studies illustrating the emergence of new structures in nominal, verbal, and discourse domain of the Dutch language.
