Cílem analýzy této magisterské diplomové práce je rozbor segmentu produkce zpravodajských komunikátů redakce MF DNES spojeného s reprezentací romského etnika. A to na příkladu zpravodajského diskursu referujícího o domnělém brutálním útoku na patnáctiletého chlapce v Břeclavi v dubnu 2012. Jeho pachateli měli dle hochovy později popřené výpovědi být tři Romové. V první části práce autor v návaznosti na teorii diskursu modifikuje takzvanou Strukturální diskursivní analýzu pro rozbor tištěného zpravodajství. Zabývá se zde také ustanovením pozice média v prostoru reality coby skupiny s vlastním ideologickým rámcem. Druhá část práce patří samotné analýze. Jejími hlavními výstupy jsou mimo jiné popis dominance etnického aspektu ve zpravodajském diskursu navzdory minimální legitimizaci, pojetí Romů coby pachatelů brutálního útoku jako pevné součásti ideologického ?vědění? redakce MF DNES a potvrzení mediální stereotypizace spojení kategorizovaného romského etnika s asociálním jednáním a vysokou emocionalitou.The aim of the master 's diploma thesis is to analyse the segment of production of MF DNES newsroom's texts which are connected to the representation of the Romani ethnic group. The analysis is based on the news discourse which is referring to a supposed violent attack on a fifteen year old boy in Břeclav in April 2012. According to the boy's allegation, which he later denied, the aggressors should have been three Romani men. In the first part of the thesis, the author, in relation to the discourse theory, modifies so called Structural discourse analysis for analysing the written news. He also deals with the establishment of the media's position in the field of reality as the group with its own ideological framework. The second part of the thesis is focused on the analysis itself. Among others, the description of the ethnical aspect's dominance in the news discourse despite of minimal legitimization, the concept of the Romani people as violent attackers being the solid part of ideological ?knowledge? of MF DNES newsroom and confirmation of the media stereotypes, which connect the categorized Romani ethnic group with asocial behaviour and high emotionality, are the basic issues of the thesis.
