Hlavním námětem této práce je kontroverzní postava druhé světové války, Carmen Mory. Byla odsouzena k smrti za špionáž pro gestapo, nelidské zacházení s vězni v koncentračním táboru Ravensbrück a zavinění několika úmrtí. Stala se předmětem mnoha diskuzí, zda byla právem odsouzena k tak tvrdému trestu, a také námětem několika literárních a filmografických děl. Tato práce zpracovává tři různé pohledy na tuto postavu a pokouší se o objektivní náhled. První obraz tvoří sumarizace mediálních zpráv a výpovědí svědků, další dva obrazy zaujímají protichůdné názory. Jedná se o dvě literární díla, Der Ausflug zum Schwanensee od Lenky Reinerová, která se s Carmen Mory setkala a zaujímá spíše negativní postoj, a Die Frau im Pelz od Lukase Hartmanna, který líčí Carmen Mory spíše jako oběť doby, ve které žila.The main theme of this thesis is a controversial figure of the Second World War, Carmen Mory. She was condemned to death for espionage for the Gestapo, for an inhuman treatment of the prisoners in the Concentration Camp Ravensbrück and for a causing of several deaths. She became a subject of many discussions, if she was rightfully condemned to such a heavy penalty, and she also became a theme of several literary and movie works. This thesis is concerned with three different views of Carmen Mory and attempts at an objective view. The first view is formed by summery of media information and statement of witnesses. The other views hold opposing opinions. They are represented by the two literary works, the Trip to Swan Lake by Lenka Reinerová, who met Carmen Mory and holds rather negative view, and The Good Angel of Death by Lukas Hartmann, who describes Carmen Mory more as a victim of the period she lived in.
