Teoretická část přibližuje čtenářům problematiku čtenářství osob se sluchovým postižením. Poznatky z teoretické části týkající se techniky úpravy textů byly využity k vypracování praktické části diplomové práce. Praktická část je pak zaměřena na úpravu konkrétního literárního titulu (Dahl Roald, Karlík a továrna na čokoládu) pro potřeby čtenáře se sluchovým postižením.. -- Abstract: This thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of this Thesis tries to map out the area of reading which are indispensable requirement and integral part of reading. The above mentioned knowledge, together with a theoretical platform of the text-adaptation techniques have been used in the practical part of this Thesis. The practical part deals with adaptation of specific fiction (Dahl Roald, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).
