Tato práce se zabývá bojem s terorismem v intencích evropského práva. Tedy jaké protiteroristické nástroje v rámci Evropské unie jsou používány, aby odvrátily hrozbu teroristických útoků. První polovina práce je věnována problematice definice pojmu terorismus a jeho typologii, přiblížení jednotlivých mezinárodních protiteroristických úmluv na regionální a univerzální úrovni. Přibližuje také relevantní rezoluce Rady bezpečnosti OSN. Gros této práce spočívá v analýze a přiblížení jednotlivých unijních politických a právních dokumentů zaměřené na boj s terorismem v rámci Evropské unie a také jakou roli zastávají členské státy v boji proti tomuto fenoménu. Důležitou roli zde hraje i Česká republika, které je věnována poslední kapitola. Dále je zde zmíněna i problematika ochrany lidských práv v rámci boje s terorismem a s tím související judikatura Evropského soudního dvora. Součástí diplomové práce jsou ucelené závěry a návrhy de lege ferenda v boji proti terorismu v rámci Evropské unie.This thesis deals with fight against terrorism in the intentions of the European Law. That is what anti-terrorist instruments are used in the European Union in order to eliminate the threat of terrorist attacks. The first half of the thesis concerns the problematics of the definition of the term 'terrorism' and its typology as well as the description of individual international anti-terrorist treaties on a regional and universal levels. It also details the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. The core of the thesis lies in the analysis and description of individual political and legal documents focusing on the fight against terrorism in the European Union and also the role its member states take in it. An important role is played by the Czech Republic, as explained in the last chapter. Furthermore, the problematics of human rights protection on the background of fight against terrorism and related European Court of Justice case-law are treated. The thesis also includes conclusions and propositions de lege ferenda concerning fight against terrorism in the European Union.
