Diplomová práce se zabývá charakteristikou rodiny a jejích funkcí. Předkládá základní informace o její historii, zaměřuje se na tradiční a současný model rodiny a zmiňuje téma krize rodiny. Práce se taktéž věnuje faktorům, které tuto společenskou instituci ovlivňují, popisuje vývoj české rodiny po roce 1989 a její současný stav. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je zaměřena na evropskou rodinu a rodinnou politiku Evropské unie. Empirická část obsahuje interpretaci a znázornění výsledků dotazníkového šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit názory české veřejnosti na rodinu a faktory, které na ni působí.The graduation thesis is concerned with the characteristic of the family and its functions. The thesis brings forward basic informations on history of the family and shows detailed description of the traditional and modern family. It is focused on factors, which affect this social institution. In this work there is described the progression of the Czech family after 1989 and its contemporary situation. The last chapter of the theoretical part gives attention the family in Europe and the family policies in the European union. The empirical part includes the explication and illustration of results of question-form search made among a Czech public. The point was to get opinions of the Czech family and verify the predefined hypothesis.
