Gender stereotype, as a bias towards gender regardless of individual personality differences, can affect a motor performance. The aim of this thesis was to find out if gender stereotype threat can negatively affect an individual's performance through the negative effect of this threat on cognitive functions affecting the creation of a motor plan. The level of selected cognitive functions was evaluated by analyzing the behavior of the eye, or by the number of eye blinks. Another goal of this thesis was to find out the subjective perception of gender stereotypes in connection with dart throwing among girls. 25 female students between the ages from 20 to 26. The participants wore an eyetracker to capture their eye movements into a video. This video was divided in 4 phases, control condition phase, manipulation phase, video phase and gender stereotype threat application phase. The number of eye blinks was generated and then used to calculate the number of eye blinks per minute in each of the phases. Along with the dart throwing results and eye blinks per minute, the results of this thesis was created. There was no change in the levels of individual cognitive functions or in the eye blinks. The participants' performance didn't change after the application of gender stereotype threat. A possible reason could be a subjective perception of gender stereotypes by participants, the choice of a gender-neutral task used in this research or the level of experience of the participants with the movement task.
