Cílem práce je objasnit, za jakým účelem V. Pelevin užívá v románu frazeologismy, jakou roli hrají v kontextu celého díla pomocí analýzy funkcí frazeologismů, užitých v románu. Kromě výsledné analýzy tato práce přináší také stručnou charakteristiku života a tvorby autora a přehled o frazeologii jako takové.. -- Abstract: This master's thesis is dedicated to the analysis of phrasemes found in Victor Pelevin's novel Generation P. The thesis aims to clarify V. Pelevin's use of phrasemes in his novel and the role they play in the context of the larger work through analysis of their individual functions. In addition, this thesis also provides a brief description of the life and work of the author and an overview of phraseology as such.
