Tato bakalářská diplomová práce je neformalistickou analýzou vztahu střihu a prostoru ve filmu La La Land. Výchozí metodologie se opírá o teoretické vymezení neformalistického přístupu k filmové analýze Kristin Thompsonové. Práce se dále opírá o koncepci střihové skladby Jana Kučery s doplněním o teoretické poznatky ze střihové oblasti filmu a filmového prostoru teoretika Davida Bordwella. Cílem analýzy bylo formou interpretace motivací a významů užitých prostředků střihové skladby a prostoru vymezit vzájemný vztah těchto rovin díla, nalézt ozvláštnění a určit dominantu.This bachelor's thesis is a neoformalist analysis of the relationship between editing and space in the film La La Land. The initial methodology is based on Kristin Thompson's theoretical definition of the neoformalist approach to the film analysis. Thesis is further based on the concept of editing composition by Jan Kučera with the addition of theoretical knowledge of the editing area of film and film space by theorist David Bordwell. The aim of the analysis was to interpret motivations and meanings of the used means of editing composition and film space and to define relationship between these levels of film, find defamiliarization and specify dominant.
