V teoretické části jsem se věnovala taxonomickému zařazení pelikána afrického do systému ptáků, dále jsem popsala řád veslonozí (Pelecaniformes), čeleď pelikánovití (Pelecanidae) a rod pelikán (Pelecanus). V poslední části jsem se zaměřila na popis mikrosatelitů, s důrazem na mikrosatelity u ptáků z řádu tučňáci a univerzální ptačí mikrosatelity. V experimentální části jsem testovala pomocí cross-species PCR amplifikace u 6 nepříbuzných jedinců pelikána afrického 173 párů primerů, z nichţ 113 bylo navrţeno pro PCR amplifikaci polymorfních mikrosatelitů u 9 druhů tučňáků a 60 párů primerů pro PCR amplifikaci univerzálních ptačích mikrosatelitů.The theoretical part deals with taxonomic classification of African pelican within the birds system. I described the Pelecaniformes order, the Pelecanidae family and Pelecanus genus. The last part contains the description of microsatellites with an emphasis on penguin microsatellites as well as universal bird microsatellites. The experimental part provides the results of tests by means of cross-species PCR amplification for 6 unrelated individuals of African pelicans of 173 primer pairs of which 113 were suggested for PCR amplification of polymorphic microsatellites within 9 species of penguins and 60 primer pairs for PCR amplification of universal bird microsatellites.
