It will attempt to not only define the role artificial humans portray, but to also document and clarify the effects of their use, as well as the environment in which they appear. This will be done with the help of three novels dealing with artificial humans, namely Philip K. Dick´s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Robert Silverberg´s Tower of Glass and Paolo Bacigalupi´s The Windup Girl.
