Diplomová práce si vzala za úkol vydat se po stopách nihilismu v dílech klasické literatury. Analýzou vybraných motivů zkoumá souvislosti, vztahy a vzájemnou propojenost mezi filozofickým myšlením jednotlivých autorů. Snaží se definovat vliv nihilismu devatenáctého století na nihilismus století dvacátého. Pokusí se dopodrobna objasnit termín nihilismus, diferencovat různé možnosti interpretace tohoto pojmu, analyzovat a na konkrétních ukázkách textu prezentovat vysledované významy a všechny s ním spojené souvislosti.The aim of this thesis is to go in the footsteps of nihilism in the works of classical literature. The author analyzes the selected themes and further explores contexts, relations and interdependence between philosophical thought of the individual authors. The thesis then tries to define the influence of the 19th century nihilism to the 20th century nihilism, attempts to elucidate the term nihilism in detail, and further attempts to differentiate the various options of the interpretation of this term and presents the observed meaning and all related contexts on the specific examples.
