Cílem této práce je poskytnout obraz o tomto klíčovém aktéru kulturní dimenze české zahraniční politiky a charakterizovat její podíl na vnější prezentaci České republiky v zahraničí, vymezit prioritní oblasti a aktivity, jimiž se v rámci této propagace zabývá. Na příkladu Českého centra Paříž znázorňuje fungování poboček sítě Českých center a jejich přínosy na poli kultury.. -- Abstract: This thesis deals with the role of the Czech centres in the promoting the culture of the Czech Republic. The aim of this study is to provide a picture of this key actor of the cultural dimension of the Czech foreign policy and to define its share in the external presentation of the Czech Republic in abroad, specify the priority areas and activities within this promotion deals. This thesis shows on the example of the Czech Centre in Paris the functioning of the branches of the Czech Centres network and its benefits in the field of culture.
