Diplomová práce se zabývá příčinami krize lidské identity v podání Josefa Šafaříka a Václava Havla. Oba myslitelé nahlížejí tento fenomén z podobného zorného úhlu. Příčinu spatřují v posunu vnímání člověka jako komplexní kulturní, duchovní bytosti k pouhému vykonavateli úkonů, herci, stroji. Právě na metaforách z oblasti kultury, především divadla, tuto tezi dokumentují a nutí své čtenáře či diváky k sebereflexi. Přesto, či právě proto, že nejsou akademickými filosofy, jsou schopni formulovat své myšlenky do přístupného sdělení, které má potenciál ovlivnit jednotlivce i společnost.This thesis deals with the reasons of the crisis of the human identity in the work of Josef Šafařík and Václav Havel. The point of view of both of these philosophers is very similar. They reveal the cause of this crisis in the shift of understanding the human not as a complex cultural and spiritual being but only as the driving force of the actions, actor, machine. The metaphors from the area of culture, especially the theatre, are used to document this proposition and to force their readers to the self-reflection. Although or maybe because they are not academic philosophers, they are capable to formulate their thoughts into comprehensible statements, which possess the potential to influence not only the individuals but the whole society.
