Překlad je doplněn poznámkovým aparátem, v němž je osvětlena terminologická problematika. Rovněž se práce věnuje charakteristice odborného textu a metodiky jeho překládání. Součástí práce je rovněž kapitola reflektující akustické zkoumání konsonantů v české literatuře. K bakalářské práci je též přiložen původní text.. -- Abstract: The aim of bachelor thesis is the translation of the chapter Acoustic Analysis of Consonants from the original monograph written by Peter Ladefoged Phonetic Data Analysis. The translation is attended by notes where terminological problems are explained. The thesis also deals with characteristics of technical text a methods of its translation. The chapter about acoustic investigation of consonants in Czech literature is also included. The original text is added to the bachelor thesis.
