Diplomová práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Nejprve je v první kapitole teoretické části obecně diskutována problematika osob s mentálním postižením, poté je ve druhé kapitole vymezena terapie ve speciální pedagogice, zejména pak expresivní terapie včetně svého hlavního zdroje ? psychoterapie. Třetí kapitola pojednává o arteterapii v kontextu cílové skupiny osob s mentálním postižením. Praktická část obsahuje výzkumné šetření, jehož cílem bylo poukázat na možnosti využití metod, technik a prostředků arteterapie. Klíčovou otázkou bylo, zdali se podaří prokázat pozitivní vliv procesu tvorby na skupinu osob s mentálním postižením. Pro účely šetření byl navržen a následně realizován arteterapeutický projekt. V příslušných kapitolách praktické části je uvedena organizační struktura projektu a zevrubný popis jednotlivých arteterapeutických setkání. Závěr je věnován analýze výsledků šetření a diskuzi. Příloha práce obsahuje rozsáhlou fotodokumentaci, zachycující prostředí a průběh všech setkání.The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part features three chapters. The objective of the first one is to discuss issues of persons with mental disabilities in general. The second seeks to define therapy in the field of special education, especially expressive therapies, including its main source ? psychotherapy. Third chapter deals with art therapy in particular with respect to the people with mental disabilities. The practical part contains research aimed to show the possibility of using various methods, techniques and means of art therapy. The main goal of research lied in an assumption whether the positive impact of the process of art making towards the persons with mental disabilities could be proven. Art therapy project was designed and realized for the purpose of the investigation. Organizational structure of the project and comprehensive description of individual art therapy lessons can be found in the relevant chapters. There is a conclusion devoted to the analysis of the survey results and discussion of outcomes at the end of the thesis. The appendix of the thesis contains detailed photo documentation capturing the location and atmosphere of the meetings.
