V profesi všeobecné sestry hrají pracovní motivace a spokojenost důležité role, protože mají přímý vliv na kvalitu poskytované ošetřovatelské péče. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá pracovní motivací a spokojeností všeobecných sester ve zdravotnických střediscích Vězeňské služby ČR. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké jsou nejsilnější motivační faktory všeobecných sester ve zdravotnických střediscích Vězeňské služby ČR. Výzkumné šeření bylo realizováno kvantitativní metodou výzkumu za pomoci využití dotazníkového šetření. Pro daný výzkum byl zvolen dotazník MMSS (McCloskey/Muellerova škála spokojenosti). Soubor respondentů tvořilo celkem 100 všeobecných sester pracujících ve zdravotnických střediscích Vězeňské služby ČR. Nejvyšší spokojenost byla zjištěna ve škále "odměny", nejnižší naopak ve škále "profesní růst". Daný výzkum může sloužit jako podkladový materiál v oblasti spokojenosti všeobecných sester ve zdravotnických střediscích Vězeňské služby ČR. Výsledky výzkumu lze využít v praxi pro zlepšení pracovních podmínek, a tudíž ke zvýšení pracovní motivace a spokojenosti u všeobecných sester ve zdravotnických střediscích Vězeňské služby ČR, případně daná diplomová práce může být podnětem pro další výzkumná šetření v této oblasti.In the general nurse profession, they are the work motivation as well as satisfaction which play the important role because both have a direct impact on the quality of the nursing care provided. This diploma thesis deals with work motivation and satisfaction of general nurses in the health centres of the Czech prison service. The aim of the thesis is to find out the strongest motivational factors of general nurses in the health centres of the Czech prison service. The research was put into practice by the quantitative research method with the aid of the questionnaire survey. For the research given, the MMSS (McCloskey/Mueller satisfaction scale) questionnaire was chosen. The group of respondents consisted of 100 general nurses in total, working in the health centres of the Czech prison service. The highest level of satisfaction was found out within the scale of "rewards" and the lowest within the scale of "professional growth". The research given can be used as a foundation material in the area of satisfaction of general nurses in the health centres of the Czech prison service. The results of the research can be practically used for improving working conditions and thus increasing the work motivation and satisfaction in case of general nurses in the health centres of the Czech prison service, or this thesis may become an impulse for further research in this area.
