Cílem této bakalářské diplomové práce je komplexní analýza prostoru kostela Nalezení svatého Kříže ve Frýdlantu jakožto šlechtické nekropole Redernů s důležitou reprezentační rolí. Práce se konkrétně zaměřuje na problematiku role kostela v rámci rodové reprezentace, a zejména na redernské sepulkrálie. Analyzuje přitom v čem jsou typické, a naopak unikátní v kontextu sepulkrální výtvarné kultury předbělohorské šlechty. Hlavními metodami této práce jsou jednak formální a obsahový rozbor sepulkrálií Redernů v tomto kostele, ale také hlubší socio-kulturní vhled do situace tehdejší frýdlantské společnosti a rodu Redernů. V rámci rozboru sepulkrálií se zaměřuji na náhrobek Bedřicha z Redernu, náhrobek Anny z Redernu, posmrtný portrét Melchiora z Redernu a následně na honosné kamenné mauzoleum Melchiora, jeho ženy Kateřiny a jejich syna Kryštofa.The aim of this bachelor thesis is a complex analysis of the space of the Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross in Frýdlant as a necropolis of the Rederns with an important representative role. Specifically, the thesis is focused on the role of the church within the framework of family representation, and in particular on the Redern sepulchral monuments. In doing so, it analyzes in what ways they are typical, and conversely unique, in the context of the sepulchral art culture of the Pre-Battle of White Mountain Era nobility. The main methods of this work are both a formal and content analysis of the Redern sepulchralia in this church, but also a deeper socio-cultural insight into the situation of the contemporary Frýdlant society and the Redern family. In the analysis of the sepulchral sculptures, I am focusing on the tombstone of Bedřich of Redern, the tombstone of Anna of Redern, the posthumous portrait of Melchior of Redern, and then the magnificent stone mausoleum of Melchior, his wife Katherine and their son Christopher.
