Tato diplomová práce se zabývá překladem dětské literatury a tvorbou translatologického komentáře k  překladu. Pro překlad byla zvolena kniha Zvířecí pohádky od ruské spisovatelky Anny Starobiněcové. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na překlad umělecké literatury, na dětskou literaturu a na specifika jejího překladu. Poslední dvě kapitoly jsou věnovány autorce Anně Starobiněcové a její knize Zvířecí pohádky. Stěžejní částí práce je část praktická, tedy překlad vybraných kapitol knihy a translatologický komentář k překladu.This thesis deals with the translation of children's literature and presents a translation commentary to a children's book Beastly Tales by a Russian writer Anna Starobinets. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on literary translation and on the characteristics of children's literature translation. The last two chapters present detailed information about the author Anna Starobinets and her book Beastly Tales. The key part of the thesis is the practical part that contains a translation of chapters selected from the book and a commentary to the translation.
