Diplomová práce představuje mariologickou část díla Tomáše kardinála Špidlíka SJ a to především s důrazem na dovršení života Matky Boží a analogicky i každého z nás. Nejprve je pojednáno na pozadí sarkofágu o jeho vztahu k Panně Marii, poté o analogii povolání Marie a člověka, ke kterému má co říct slavení církve. Následně je analyzována Špidlíkova metodologie z pozice mariologie a pokračuje stručnou charakteristikou hlavních zdrojů jeho mariologických reflexí. Také poukáže na Mariino povolání jako na cestu k dovršení člověka. Na závěr autor srovnává dílo Tomáše Špidlíka s dílem Konráda Maria Kubeše SJ.The diploma thesis presents the mariological part of the work of Tomáš Cardinal Špidlík SJ, especially with an emphasis on completing the life of the Mother of God and, analogously, each of us. First, this argument is discussed in the background of the sarcophagus about Špidlík's relationship with the Virgin Mary, then in the context of an analogy of the vocations of Mary and every human person. Subsequently, Špidlík's methodology from the position of Mariology, as well as a brief description of the main sources of his mariological reflections are analyzed. Subsequently, the vocation of Mary is presented as a way to fulfillment of every human person. Finally, the author compares the work of Tomáš Špidlík with the work of Konrád Maria Kubeš SJ.
