Tato bakalářská práce popisuje a analyzuje sociodemografickou strukturu členské základny KDU-ČSL. Jedná se o komparativní analýzu, která srovnává členskou základnu v letech 2013-2018 s členskou základnou v letech 1990-2005. Charakterizuje průměrného člena KDU-ČSL dle nejčastější odpovědi v dotazníku a toho pak porovnává s typickým členem, kterého uvádí ve své práci politologové Lukáš Linek a Štěpán Pecháček, z jejichž studie tato práce primárně vychází. Rozdíl mezi těmito vzorky respondentů je 13 let. V první části práce je popsán historický vývoj členství v České republice a je zde zběžně popsán i vývoj KDU-ČSL v kontextu své doby. Druhá kapitola primárně slouží jako analýza sociodemografické struktury členů KDU-ČSL, přestože jsou zde uvedeny i základní informace o členství, počtech předsedů či sjezdech a volbách, kterých se KDU-ČSL v minulosti zúčastnila. V poslední kapitole dochází k analýze ideového smýšlení členů KDU-ČSL a následné interpretaci těchto dat. V této kapitole se také snažím díky výsledkům analýzy v předešlých kapitolách charakterizovat základní problémy, kterým bude nové předsednictvo strany muset v blízké době čelit.This bachelor thesis describes and analyzes the socio-demographic structure of the KDU-ČSL membership base. It is a comparative analysis that compares the membership base in 2013-2018 with the membership in 1990-2005. The main goal of the thesis is to characterize the average member of the KDU-CSL according to the results from the questionnaire included and then compare it with an average member characterized by political scientists Lukas Linek and Stepan Pechacek in their work. The difference between these samples is 13 years. The first part describes the historical development of party membership in the Czech Republic and then is briefly described development of KDU-CSL in the time context. The second chapter primarily serves as an analysis of the socio-demographic structure of KDU-CSL members, although basic information about membership, number of chairmans, congresses and elections in which KDU-CSL has participated in the past is included. In the last chapter is analyzed the ideological thinking of the KDU-CSL members according to the questionnare results and the data are then interpreted. In this chapter I also tried to characterize, the basic problems that the new party chairman will have to face in the near future.
