Kvalifikační práce se snaží zhodnotit symbolický tvar regionu z pohledu obyvatel ve věku 15-19 let ve vybraném institucionalizovaném Mikroregionu Bystřicko. V první části se práce věnuje teoretickému podkladu k danému tématu, metodickému postupu práce a základnímu vymezení zvoleného území se zaměřením na demografické charakteristiky a administrativní vývoj. V části analytické je pak uveden rozbor dat získaných během dotazníkového šetření mezi respondenty dané věkové kategorie. Významnou součástí práce jsou i mentální mapy, které zobrazují prostorový tvar současného regionu ve vědomí mladších obyvatel.This thesis tries to assess a symbolic shape of the region in institutionalized of selected Microregion Bystřicko in the view of the residents in ages 15-19 years old. In the first part of the thesis dedicates a theoretical material of the topic, methodical steps of the work and fundamental determination selected territory in focus of demographic characteristics, administration development and symbols for the region. In analysis part is mention analysis of data obtained from questionnaires during questionnaires survey among respondents in the age's category. An important part of thesis are mental maps that representation spatial shape of the contemporary region in knowledge of younger residents.
