Bakalářská práce je věnována problematice podpory komunikace seniorů v domovech pro seniory z pohledu speciálního pedagoga. Teoretická část shrnuje informace z odborné literatury věnující se problematice komunikace, definuje specifika i bariéry komunikace s klientem seniorem a možnosti podpory komunikace prostřednictvím systémů alternativní a augmentativní komunikace, terapií i aktivizačních činností. Výzkumná část je věnována kombinovanému výzkumu provedenému formou rozhovorů a dotazníkového šetření u speciálních pedagogů působících v domovech pro seniory a u pracovníků přímé péče. Závěr šetření je komparací pohledů na danou problematiku u obou skupin respondentů. Okrajově práce řeší také postavení speciálního pedagoga v týmu pracovníků denní péče o seniory.The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of supporting the communication of seniors in homes for the elderly from the point of view of a special pedagogue. The theoretical part summarizes information from specialized literature dealing with communication issues, defines the specifics and barriers of communication with the senior client and the possibilities of communication support through alternative and augmentative communication systems, therapies and activation activities. The research part is devoted to combined research carried out in the form of interviews and questionnaire survey of special pedagogues working in the homes for the elderly and direct care workers. The conclusion of the survey is a comparison of views on the given issue with both groups of respondents. The marginal work also solves the position of a special pedagogue in the team of day care workers for the elderly.
