V teoretické části naleznete i vymezení pojmu Mindfulness z pohledu řad autorů (např. Hypotézy byly stanoveny k ověření, zda existuje korelace mezi hrubým skórem všímavosti a hrubým skórem jednotlivých škál z inventáře Stress Profile. Hypotézy byly ověřeny pomocí Pearsonova korelačního koeficientu na hladině významnosti p <0,500. Výsledky byly porovnány s dostupnou literaturou.Master's thesis "Stress and Mindfulness With Focus on Somatic Effects of Stress" is focusing on search of relations between stress and mindfulness. Theoretical part contains basic information about stress, its divining and measuring. Also, it will be specified, how stress effects the human body with focus on specification of psychosomatics. You will also find information, which diseases / physical systems are associated with stress. One chapter is dedicated to dealing with stress, where you will find table with personality characteristics, which help to manage the stress. In theoretical part we also focused on specification of the term Mindfulness from point of view of different authors (e.g. Frýba). You will find shortened treatise about Abhidhamma as a Buddhist basis of Mindfulness. We also focused on therapeutic options of Mindfulness (e.g. satitherapy), on aspects of Mindfulness and studies of Mindfulness. The empirical part of this work contains the results of our research. We used quantitative method of the research with usage of DPAV questionnaires and Stress Profile inventories. Our respondents were people aged between 20 and 59 years old without experience with meditation. In our research we tried to find out existence of correlation between scale from the Stress Profile and hassles scale from PAV questionnaire. During our research we worked with 6 hypotheses. The hypotheses were defined to verify whether correlation between hassles scale of mindfulness and hassles scale of individual scale from the Stress Profile inventory. Hypotheses were verified with usage of Pearson correlation coefficient with significance level p < 0,500. Our results were compared with available literature.
