Tato práce se zabývá historií Městské hudby Františka Kmocha. Zpočátku se věnuje osobnosti Františka Kmocha a jeho vlivu na vznik a vývoj orchestru. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována současné podobě orchestru, současnému dirigentovi a repertoáru orchestru. Poslední kapitola téma uzavírá obeznámením s významem souboru v kontextu města Kolín.The thesis deals with history of Municipal Band of František Kmoch. At first, the thesis is dedicated to the personality of František Kmoch and his influence on the formation and development of the orchestra. Particular attention is dedicated to the current form of the orchestra, current conductor and the repertoire of the orchestra. The last chapter deals with the importance of the ensemble in the context of the city Kolín.
