Práce se zabývá specifickou formou terapie, wilderness terapií, která k dosažení terapeutického účinku využívá prvků klasické psychoterapie ve spojení s působením divoké přírody. Výzkum se zaměřuje na principy realizace wilderness terapie a zkušenosti zahraničních terapeutů působících v tomto odvětví. Cílem diplomové práce je popsat specifika wilderness terapie při práci se skupinou mladých dospělých klientů. Byly realizovány polostrukturované rozhovory v anglickém jazyce s celkem 9 wilderness terapeuty. Wilderness terapie trvá přibližně 8-10 týdnů, je místem stabilizace a motivace k další dlouhodobé léčbě. Wilderness terapie je běžně kombinována s prvky adventure terapie. Programy mohou fungovat čistě jako expediční model nebo disponovat základním táborem, do kterého se klienti pravidelně vrací. Pro mladé dospělé klienty jsou charakteristické obtíže pojící se se vstupem do dospělosti. Závěry výzkumu nasvědčují tomu, že kombinací psychoterapeutických metod, regeneračních účinků přírody a soužití v komunitě vrstevníků lze dosáhnout efektivních výsledků v léčbě širokého spektra potíží.This thesis is about a specific form of therapy, wilderness therapy, which uses classic psychotherapy in connection with the effect of wild nature to achieve therapeutic effects. The research is focussed on the principles of realization wilderness therapy and the experience of foreign therapists working in this field. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the specifics of wilderness therapy used with a group of young adult clients. Interviews were conducted in English, with 9 wilderness therapists. Wilderness therapy is generally over a period of approximately 8 to 10 weeks. It is considered a place of stabilization and motivation for the clients further long-term treatment. Wilderness therapy is commonly combined with the elements of adventure therapy. Programs of therapy can function as an expedition model or have a base camp to which clients return regularly. Young adult clients are characterized by there difficulty in entering adulthood. Conclusions of the research suggest that combining psychoterapeutic methods, the regenerative effects of nature and coexistence within there peer community can together achieve effective results in the treatment of a wide range of problems.
