Diplomová práce se věnuje naratologické analýze filmů Richarda Linklatera Před úsvitem, Před soumrakem, Před půlnocí, souhrnně označovaných jako Before trilogie. Cílem práce je identifikovat a popsat režijně stylistické a narativní postupy, budující v Before trilogii jako celku i v jejích jednotlivých snímcích, čas a prostor a reflektovat stěžejní myšlenky Richarda Linklatera o čase a prostoru, které se promítají do způsobu vyprávění, do vizuální podoby filmů a dialogů postav. Analýza narativní formy, založená na vzájemné komparaci všech jejích dílů, dokazuje, že uvnitř triptychu je možné identifikovat opakující se narativní i stylové vzorce. Ačkoli narativ Linklaterovy trilogie bývá označen za tradiční, tedy klasický, analýza potvrzuje, že v mnohém odpovídá artovému narativnímu módu.This thesis covers the narrative analysis of movies Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Before Midnight, collectively known as the Before trilogy, by Richard Linklater. The aim of this work is to identify and describe stylistic and narrative methods used to construct the time and space both in the Before trilogy as a whole as well as in the individual movies; and also to reflect the fundamental ideas of Richard Linklater about time and space that are projected in the way the stories in the movies are told, in the visual style of the movies and in the character's dialogues. The analysis of the narrative form based on the comparison of all the movies in the trilogy proves that there are recurring narrative and style patterns. And even though the narrative side of the movies could be labelled as traditional or classical, the analysis establishes that in many ways it conforms to the artistic narrative model.
