Tyto vlastnosti byly studovány jak experimentálně pomocí magnetochemické instrumentace, tak i teoreticky pomocí výpočtů metodou CASSCF.In this thesis, coordination compounds of selected lanthanides were prepared, using organic acids and Schiff bases as ligands. Magnetic properties of those compounds was studied, mainly single-molecule magnetism and magnetocaloric effect, focused on how these properties change with small changes of coordination sphere. Those properties were studied experimentally with use of magnetochemic instruments and theoretically with calculations using CASSCF method.
