Práce se zaměřuje na srovnání a charakteristiku demografických ukazatelů obyvatelstva České republiky, a to v čase a prostoru, na celonárodní úrovni, ale také na úrovni regionální a lokální. Cílem je zachytit trendy, jakými se demografická struktura České republiky ubírala v posledních letech. Pozornost je věnována jak demografickým procesům z průběžných statistik, tak cenzovním datům ze sčítání lidu 2001 a 2011. Výstupy této analýzy jsou následně zpracovány v podobě grafových a mapových výstupů a výsledky jsou patřičně okomentovány a zhodnoceny.The thesis focuses on the comparison and characteristics of demographic indicators of the czech society, in time and space, at national level, but also at regional and local level. The goal is to capture trends on how was the demographic structure of Czech Republic modified in the past years. Attention is paid to demographic processes of continuous statistics as well as to census data from the census of 2001 and 2011. Outputs of the analysis are then processed in the form of chart and map outputs and the results are properly commented and evaluated.
