Diplomová práce se zabývá sledováním efektu terapie a prevence pádů s využitím balančních her přístroje Nintendo Wii Fit. Efekt byl zkoumán u seniorů s přítomností rizikových faktorů pro vznik pádů. Pro hodnocení byly využity funkční testy Timed Up and Go, Activities specific balance conficence scale, funkční test dosahu všemi směry a Bergové balanční škála. Terapie proběhla celkem devětkrát, trvala 20 minut a zahrnovala hraní balančních her penguin slide, balance bubble a table tilt. Studii dokončilo 26 osob. Při srovnání kontrolní a výzkumné skupiny nebyly prokázány statisticky významné rozdíly. Při srovnání v rámci výzkumné skupiny bylo prokázáno statisticky významné zlepšení v Timed Up and Go testu, dílčích testech dosahu vpřed a vzad funkčního testu dosahu všemi směry a Bergové balanční škále. Měření s měsíčním odstupem dlouhodobý efekt terapie nepotvrdilo. Teoretická část práce shrnuje poznatky o příčinách, incidenci, diagnostice a prevenci pádů.This diploma thesis deals with effects of therapy and the prevention from falls with the usage of balance games of tool Nintento Wii Fit. The effect was researched among elderly suffering from risk factors occurring after falls. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of the following tests: the Timed Up and Go, the Activities specific balance confidence scale, the Multi directional reach test and the Berg balance scale. The therapy was carried out nine times, it took 20 minutes and it included playing of balance games such as the penguin slide, the balance bubble and the table tilt. The research was finished by 26 persons. There were not proved the statistically significant differences during the comparison of the controlled and researched groups. The comparison of the controlled and researched groups showed the statistically significant improvement within the Timed Up and Go test, the partial forward and backward tests of the Multi directional reach test and the Berg balance scale. The measures carried out after one month did not confirm the long term effect of the therapy. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the findings regarding causes, incidences, diagnosis and prevention from falls.
