Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá jedním z typů negativní termoterapie, a to kryoterapií a jejím vlivem na lidský organismus. Teoretická část je zaměřena na seznámení se s problematikou, její stručnou historií, představení technických a teoretických charakteristik tohoto odvětví fyzikální terapie a možnostmi její aplikace. Také se věnuje teoretickým poznatkům o vybraných, nejčastěji se vyskytujících nebo nejzávažnějších onemocněních, které se s využitím kryoterapie pojí. V praktické části je nastíněn průběh ukázkové terapie u konkrétních pacientů. Léčby se zúčastnili dva probandi s odlišnou diagnózou, etiologií a zaměřením. Použity byly dva druhy přístupu k léčbě. Dle subjektivního hodnocení pacienty měla léčba chladem pozitivní účinek na ošetřovanou oblast.The thesis deals with one type of negative thermotherapy and cryotherapy and its influence on the human body. The theoretical part focuses on explanation of the issue, its brief history, introduction of theoretical and technical characteristics of physical therapy and the possibilities of its application. It also deals with theoretical knowledge on selected, most frequent or most serious diseases that are associated with the use of cryotherapy. The practical part of the thesis describes the process of a sample therapy for specific patients. Two probants with different diagnosis, etiology and focus took part in the treatment. Two kinds of approach to the treatment were used. According to subjective evaluation of the patients the cold therapy had positive effect on the treated areas.
