Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem světla a tmy. Sestává ze dvou částí teoretické a praktické. Část teoretická se zabývá fyzikálními, ekologickými, fyziologickými a psychologickými aspekty světla a tmy a vztahem tohoto tématu k vizuálnímu umění. Praktická část se věnuje specifickému žánru knižní tvorby, kterým je pop-up book. Zájemce se dozví mnoho informací o historii a autorech tohoto typu knih. Výstupem praktické části je vytištěný a svázaný pop-up book ve formátu A4, který obsahuje sedm trojrozměrných ilustrací k tématu světla a tmy. Knihu také doprovázejí dva plakáty ve formátu A2.The objects of this work´s attention are the light and the darkness. This work consists of two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on the physical, ecological, physiological and psychological aspects of the light and the darkness and their relations to the visual arts. The practical part deals with the pop-up book as a specific genre of books. Interested person can find here much information on history and the authors of these books. The real outcome of the practical part is a printed and binded pop-up book in format A4, which contains seven three-dimensional illustrations to the topic of the light and the darkness. The book is accompanied with two posters in format A2 as well.
