Byly určeny čtyři typy vztahů: indiference, kooperace, komplementarita a konkurence. The objective of this thesis is to, based on the Census 2001 commuting data, define relationship between centres of the functional regions of the Czech Republic. The nature of relationship between centres (or cores) was defined combining the parametres of intensity of the interaction (expressed by the CURDS measure) and the hierarchical level of the cores. Four types of relations were identified: indifferent, cooperative, complementary and competing. The first three of them are empirically defined, whereas the fourth is discussed only in a theoretical manner.
