Diplomová práce pojednává o způsobech a praktikách uplatňovaných v boji o mocenské postavení, jak je zobrazili Fr. Schiller a M. von Ebner-Eschenbach v dramatech ?Maria Stuart? a ?Maria Stuart in Schottland?. Pozornost je věnována především intrikám a násilným úkladům u dvora. Práce rozebírá společná témata obou her ? téma práva a bezpráví, střetu etického a nemorálního. Nastiňuje rovněž společensko-historické pozadí, které bezprostředně ovlivnilo autory a tematiku obou dramat.The diploma thesis deals with ways and practice of fight of noblesse oblige in the society in dramas of Friedrich Schiller (Maria Stuart) and M. von Ebner-Eschenbach (Maria Stuart in Schottland). The thesis is concentrated on the intrigues and machination at the court. The topics the dramas have in common are discussed as well ? the problem of justice and injustice, the problem of morality and immorality. The social-historical background affecting authors and topics of the dramas is outlined.
