Práce podává pohled na životní styl Romů a pastoraci v romských komunitách, která má vliv i na sociální život. Jejím cílem je popsat pastorační zkušenosti v romských komunitách ČR a SR. V první části je popsána charakteristika životního stylu Romů, v druhé vysvětlen obsah slova pastorace a její vztah k sociální práci. V dalších částech jsou popsány jednotlivé romské lokality nacházející se v SR a ČR a navzájem jsou mezi sebou srovnány.This thesis offers a view of the gipsy walk of life. It offers also a view of pastoral activities in gipsy communities, which influences their social life. The pastoral experiences in the gipsy communities in the Czech Republic and in the Slovak Republic are the objective of the thesis.The first part gives an account of the characteristic gipsy walk of life. In the second part the meaning of the word pastoral activity and its reference to social labour are explained. The following parts give an account of single gipsy localities which are situated in the Czech Republic and in the Slovak Republic and they are compared mutually.
