Tato práce se zabývá fungováním školství v České republice z pohledu platné legislativy na tomto úseku veřejné správy a z pohledu historického vývoje nejvýznamnějších legislativních změn, které ovlivňovaly v minulosti vývoj vzdělávací soustavy. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je popsat v legislativní rovině strukturu našeho současného školství, neboť znalost této legislativy tj. zákonů, nařízení, pokynů, patří dle mého k nezbytným znalostem každého z nás, stejně tak jako důležité pojmy a instituty, s kterými se setkáváme denně v běžném životě a kterým se také věnuji v první části a druhé části této práce. Třetí část by měla pomoci čtenářům orientovat se v naší školské vzdělávací soustavě a lépe pochopit současnou tvář našeho školství včetně základních práv a povinnosti účastníků. Praktická část mé práce je určena oblasti školství ve Statutárním městě Olomouc, konkrétně analýze demografického vývoje a jeho dopadu na nutné organizační změny, s kterými souvisí zaměstnanost a výše mzdových nákladů na pedagogy a ostatní zaměstnance v mateřských školách zřizovaných Statutárním městem Olomouc. Závěrečná část je věnována problematice vzrůstajícího zájmu žáků o studium na víceletých gymnáziích a výsledkům průzkumu, který jsem prováděla na vybraných školách.This dissertation for B. A. degree deals with functions of the system of schools in the Czech Republic in terms of legislation and administration, especially from the aspect of a historical development of the most significant legislative changes, which influenced the educational system in the past. The aim of the dissertation is to describe the current structures of schools in terms of legislation. I presume that the knowledge of this legal framework of laws, regulations and instructions is as important as concepts and institutes, we can find in everyday life. The first part is also concerned with their mutual relationship. The third part should help to orientate in the system of schools in the Czech Republic and understand its current form including the basic rights and obligations of participants. The practical part focuses on a sector of education system in the statutory town of Olomouc, especially on analysis of a demographic development and its wage expenditure in kindergartens and elementary schools established by the statutory town of Olomouc. The conclusion is dedicated to issues of the increasing interest of pupils considering the study at six/eight-year grammar schools and results of the research, which I did in the selected schools.
