Diplomová práce se zabývá vymezením pojmu alternativní a augmentativní komunikace a výčtem jednotlivých systémů. Dále se věnuje klasifikaci a charakteristice mentálně retardovaných osob a symptomatickým poruchám řeči. Praktická část prezentuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření provedeného v ústavech sociální péče Ústeckého kraje.The diploma theses deals with defining the conception of the alternative and augmentativ communication and with listing of individual systems. Further it deals with classification and characteristics of mentally retarded people and with symptomatic dyslogia. The practical part presents outcomes of the questionnaire survey carried out in social care institutions in the Usti nad LAbem nad Labem region.
